Day 07 → Favorite stadium
I’m going to go with current stadiums, and judge it by the ones I’ve been to (I’ve been to 5…must increase this number soon!).
So of all the ones I’ve been too, I would say Great American Ballpark is my favorite. My aunt & uncle’s nephew (not blood-related to him) lives in Kentucky (right across the bridge from Cincy) and he’s a HUGE Reds (and Tigers) fan. So we went to go visit him and went to the Reds vs. Indians game (this was Memorial Weekend in 2009).
The entrance that we used was so…odd. I loved it. You had to go up the stairs to get there. Idk idk, it was different to me! Anyway, I had a really good time walking around the concourse. They had a lot to offer but it wasn’t annoying and cluttered, like some parks. They have a Reds Hall of Fame that you can go inside which is really awesome.
We had really good seats and I really liked the scoreboard. I love the view of the water you can see from the park. I want to go back!
